The 2025 Viking Golf Classic

Welcome to the Viking Golf Classic Tournament & Tour of Ireland!

Join the Healy Tours Viking Golf Classic Tour to golf some of Ireland's best golf courses. Enjoy golf in Ireland and tour some of the oldest towns in Ireland's Ancient East. Five rounds of golf are interspersed with cultural highlights and relaxation in stunning locations.

The Viking Golf Classic Tournament will take place with two days of tournament play at the Waterford Golf Course. We at Healy Tours are thrilled to introduce our hometown of Waterford Ireland to North American players; this is the oldest town in Ireland, full of Viking and Medieval charm. North American-based teams will play in friendly competition against local Irish players from the Waterford Golf Club. Handicaps will be used to match golfers - all golfers are welcome. The tournament includes two rounds of golf over two days, two nights of entertainment and an awards banquet. The Waterford Golf Club is rolling out a warm Irish welcome for our guests, and we look forward to bringing our North American and Irish golfers together both on and off the course.

This trip is excellent for those who love golf (and for those who love a golfer). With 5 rounds of golf planned, there is still plenty of time to relax, see the sights, and fully enjoy your time in Ireland. If you wish to golf more, we can help you schedule that in! For those non-golfers in the group, we will have sightseeing and daily activities for you while the others are on the course. You will be in luxury accommodation throughout your stays, so whether your downtime consists of pub-time, spa-time, or outdoor pursuits, your Healy Tours golf vacation in Ireland will deliver!

County Wicklow

Today you will journey to Wicklow County - affectionately known as “The Garden of Ireland.”

Co. Wicklow offers breathtaking mountains, beaches, rivers, lakes and streams, a nature-lovers paradise.  Wicklow was the setting for many films like  Excalibur, Michael Collins and Braveheart. Popular TV series such as The Vikings, Ballykissangel and Glenroe were filmed in the attractive villages of Avoca and Kilcoole Glendalough, an ancient Monastic site nestled in the picturesque Wicklow Mountains.
