On this tour, you will explore Ireland's ancient east while traveling through mountains, along the sea, and into some of the most beautiful and tranquil places in Ireland.
This tour is hosted by your favorite Irish-American singer songwriter, Jimmy Farrell. Jimmy will travel with you around Ireland, with the theme of traditional music top of mind. You will be spending time where many of your favorite Irish ballads stem from. This tour is all about being in good company with good people, relaxing, and connecting with the world around you. Dublin Arrival and Malahide Castle
Land at Dublin Airport, and complete customs and immigration formalities before meeting your tour driver/guide, who will welcome you to Ireland.
Today we will visit some of the most magnificent castle gardens in Ireland at Malahide castle. Tour the castle and gardens and enjoy your day in the seaside town of Malahide just outside of Dublin. This evening, join your group for a welcome dinner and get to know your fellow passengers.

Wicklow Mountains and Monastic Ruins
Today we will start off on a scenic drive through the famous Wicklow Mountain range on our way out of Dublin. (The Wicklow Mountains have been the backdrop for many movies, including the current historical drama Vikings on the History Channel).
Stop at Glendalough Monastic site nestled deep within the mountains and take some time to walk around and photograph this peaceful and stunning scenery. Step out into history and see why the monks chose this site over 1000 years ago as their settlement. One of the best examples of an in-tact round tower in Ireland today.
Continue your journey south to the bustling town of Kilkenny. One of our favorite old medieval towns in Ireland with winding cobblestone streets, and a treasure to be found around every corner.

Kilkenny Ireland
Start the day in the lively town of Kilkenny with a short walk over to the Castle gates. Enoy a guided tour of this castle that was inhabited as recently as the 1930s and has been lovingly restored.
Have free time today to walk the town, shop, find some unique medieval pubs, museums, cathedrals, and so much more. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy in Kilkenny. Loads of restaurants await you for dinner, and music is sure to be found on the streets of Kilkenny!

The Rock of Cashel and Kinsale
Today you will travel south and visit some of Ireland’s most beloved heritage sites.
The Rock of Cashel is perched high atop a limestone outcrop with stunning 360-degree views of County Tipperary. Built about 800 years ago as a fortress and center of power, this is an ancient site of high kings like Brian Boru and later religious leaders. Hundreds of years of history are yours to walk and take in.
Many people consider this a sacred place and feel a sense of wonder or awe while visiting this hallowed ground. Read more about Thin Places.
This evening you will have free time to explore the absolutely charming town of Kinsale. Known for its colorful buildings and for its wonderful foodie vibe, there will be many fine places to choose a meal this evening. Small local pubs, great food, and great local company will make you fall in love with Kinsale!

Kinsale and Blarney Castle
Onward to Blarney Castle and gardens today, where you will explore history from nearly six hundred years ago. Perhaps you will kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, said to give those who do the “gift of the gab”. If kissing the stone is not for you - don't worry - Blarney Castle and grounds are a well-known tourist destination for a reason - it is a beautiful day out in Cork where you can explore and enjoy the Irish countryside.
Return to Kinsale in time for dinner and drinks back at your favorite local pub.

Killarney
Travel west to County Kerry today and take in the stunning views of the Cork and Kerry mountains. Killarney is one of our very favorite places in Ireland, with just the right mix of tourism and natural beauty. There is something for everyone in Killarney, whether outdoor pursuits like walking, biking, or boating are you thing, or stay in town and shop to your heart's content. Killarney comes alive at night with all types of music venues - stay out late and take in some of the music that pours into the streets. It is June in Ireland, so the sun does not set until 11:00 pm or so!
Your 3-night stay in Killarney includes accommodation in a beautifully restored traditional Irish family manor home. Relaxation and views that you will not believe await you on this estate just outside of town. We will have daily tours from our central location in Killarney, but it is just a short walk to town, as you please. Three nights allows you an immersive experience in Killarney without packing and unpacking or too much bus time. Enjoy!
This evening upon arrival in Killarney, take some time to get settled in your room, and join the group for a lovely dinner in the Manor House dining room. Perhaps some after dinner drinks in the drawing room, or a trip into town for a music session tonight!

Get ready for the views of a lifetime today! We will travel around the Ring of Kerry, one of the famed scenic peninsulas of Ireland. Part of the Wild Atlantic Way, you will see stunning wildlife, sea views, mountains, sheep, cattle, and so much more. Each turn in the road opens to a new and more spectacular vista. This is the Ireland you came to see.
Enjoy a stop at a local establishment for dinner on the way back to Killarney today.
Dinner and Overnight: The Cahernane House
Jaunting Carts and Muckross House
We will arrange a jaunting cart ride for you to Ross Castle where you can take in the castle views overlooking the lake today. A charming and delightful way to learn about the history of this fine town.
Afterward, our driver will escort you to Muckross House and gardens – not to be missed! Explore on foot, by horse and cart, or by by bicycle. Find the waterfall and other treasured show-stopping photo-ops all along the way.

Onward to Dublin today. Take in some sights within the midlands of Ireland on the way.
Arrive to your Castle for accommodation tonight, and enjoy your parting group dinner.
