DEPART THE UNITED STATES
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation, 'holiday' as the Irish would say.
Land at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities before meeting your tour driver/guide, who will welcome you to Ireland. Transfer to your nearby hotel and check in for your overnight stay. You will have some time on your own before dinner with your group.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT: Portmarnock Golf Hotel, Dublin
Leaving Dublin, travel the Irish countryside to Donegal. Make a stop at the famous Mullingar Peweter factory for a demonstration by the skilled artisans who craft this unbelievably beautiful product.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT: Harvey's Point Hotel, Donegal
SLIEVE LEAGUE | Donegal
This morning, visit Slieve League Sea Cliffs, the highest sea cliffs in Europe, and more secluded than the famed Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs drop straight down to the wild Atlantic waves below and you will see marvelous vistas.
Next, head to Ardara and visit Triona Design. While here, see demonstrations of spinning, weaving and knitting. Return to Donegal, where you are free for individual pursuits and dining.
OVERNIGHT: Harvey's Point Hotel, Donegal
Today, visit Atlantic Sheepdogs so you can get the opportunity to experience farm life in Ireland and see some of the world’s smartest sheepdogs, working in their natural environment.
Continue on to visit Westport House, an 18th century mansion, set in superb parkland with magnificent views overlooking Clew Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. See stunning rooms with priceless furnishings, paintings, books, and silver.
Enjoy the Westport Food Festival that will be taking place this weekend while we are visiting!
Then check into your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

ACHILL ISLAND TOUR & DESERTED VILLAGE
This morning, travel along Curraun Peninsula to reach Achill Island. Follow the Atlantic Drive to capture wonderful and wild scenic views of steeply sloped mountains plunging into the shimmering Atlantic Ocean. Stop to view the deserted village, which provides a haunting reminder of times past on Achill Island. Return to Westport for a free evening.
OVERNIGHT: Westport Plaza Hotel
AILLWEE CAVES & KILLARNEY
Just outside Ballyvaughan, visit Aillwee Cave, one of the most ancient caves in the Burren and perhaps in Ireland. Next, take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary.
Then head to the charming town of Killarney and check into your hotel. You may wish to relax or freshen up before dinner at a local pub.
After dinner, attend the Gaelic Roots show, which feature some of Ireland’s most beloved songs, harp music and folk dancing.
OVERNIGHT: Muckross Park Hotel, Killarney
Today is free free to sightsee, shop, or explore the great outdoors in Killarney. Perhaps a jaunting cart ride through the park, a bike ride, or a boat ride will suit your tastes. In the evening, you can dine at one of the many restaurants or pubs in Killarney.
We will be happy to help you plan your day in Killarney if you need some suggestions.
OVERNIGHT: Muckross Park Hotel
Today, discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by the National Geographic Traveler as “the most beautiful place on earth.” Drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas of heathery mountains, sandy stretches of beach, stunning green landscapes and rocky headlands. Pause at strategic locations to admire the views and take photos. Stop to visit Dingle Artisans, where you may shop or browse for quality made goods. Have dinner with the group prior to heading back to Killarney, where the remainder of the evening is at leisure.
OVERNIGHT: Muckross Park Hotel
CAHIR CASTLE & WATERFORD
After a stop at Lee River Leather continue on to visit Cahir Castle, stronghold of the powerful Butler family. The castle is located on an island site with buildings dating from the 13th–19th centuries. Much of the defensive walls, keep and tower are original. Motor a short distance to visit the Rock of Cashel, which are majestic church ruins that are clustered high on a limestone outcrop overlooking the surrounding countryside. Then drive to Waterford and check into your hotel. You will have some time on your before dinner in the hotel restaurant.

HOUSE OF WATERFORD CRYSTAL
This morning, add a bit of sparkle to your day by touring the House of Waterford Crystal. While here, learn about glass blowing, cutting and see one-of-a-kind masterpieces. The afternoon is free to sightsee independently. You may want to visit the Bishop's Palace, Waterford Cathedral, or even Waterford Treasure. You may even like to check out the Viking Triangle or stop at Mount Congreve House. Regardless of your interests, there is something for you to do in this historic city. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a visit to Carrigeen, the village where the Healy family still lives today. Enjoy some music and entertainment.
OVERNIGHT: Faithlegg House Hotel, Waterford
GLENDALOUGH & DUBLIN
Leaving Waterford, travel to County Wicklow. Stop to visit the 6th century monastic ruins of Glendalough. The visitor centre explains how St. Kevin founded this settlement at a time when Christianity was burgeoning throughout Ireland. Then drive to Dublin, where you will check into your hotel for your overnight stay. You may wish to relax or freshen up before tonight’s festivities.
This evening, head to the Abbey Tavern for dinner and a traditional ballad session. Built on the site of an old abbey, Abbey Tavern has been in business for over 200 years.
OVERNIGHT: Clontarf Castle, Dublin
Set off with a local guide who will show you around Dublin. The city has been molded through the centuries with many architectural styles, reflecting the economic, political and artistic influences. Stop to visit St. Michan’s Church, which was built on the site of an early Danish chapel. This 17th-century edifice claims to be the only parish church on the north side of the Liffey surviving from a Viking foundation. Next, visit Teeling Distillery, Dublin’s newest distillery in the heart of the city, and also sample the fine aged whiskey. Then enjoy some time free to sightsee and shop before a farewell dinner in the hotel restaurant.
